My current food obsession...



Crispy tofu. Bloody gorgeous.

It's really easy - you press the tofu (sandwich it between kitchen paper and a couple of plates and weigh it down with a tin for 10 minutes or so to dry it out a bit) then cut it into chunks and coat in seasoned cornflour. The easiest way to do it is to put a tablespoon or so of cornflour into one of those plastic takeaway tubs with some salt and pepper, and then put the tofu in, put the lid on and shake it about for a bit. Then you just shallow fry the tofu in a bit of sunflower oil. It's so crispy and yummy!
